Bloody scene...Don't read it if you got phobia...

Haha...I bet there is someone that scared by the title again....

This is really the bloody scene, but not as horrible as in the movie...

Just an experiment on blood....

This time, the sample we used is blood, and it is taken from....

ME!!!!!!

See the redness there???

It is after injected by syringe and the blood had been 'withdraw' from my blood bank...

It was pain???

Nope...

You can try...

The blood sample had been taken from me....

And filled in the container tube...

10cc...
Content: Red blood cells,H1N1 virus, HIV virus and also SARS virus....

Ok....Prepare the stain then.....

We are using the Wright's stain and the Giemsa's stain...

With ethanol and the phosphate buffer for rinsing process....

Wear your glove...

Do not touch the blood with bare hand because it is bio-hazard....
(Shasa's hand....She should wear the smaller size of glove...This one too big for her....)

Spread the blood sample on the slide and let it dry....

There are 2 methods, the thin smear and the thick smear...

But most of the people might not understand the scientific term, so I just skipped explaining this part...

This is my slide, after the blood dry...

This is the thick smear...

And then started to stain the slides...

Looks like slide BBQ site...

Haha...

This is my Wright's stain...

And this is my Giemsa's stain....

After 20 minutes staining, the Wright's slide will appear with pale pink colour after rinse with the phosphate buffer, meanwhile the Giemsa's slide will be in purple colour...

Hmmm...

Why the slides are all in girlish pink and purple colour??

Where is blue and yellow???

And green???
